Jim Edwards has been teaching music since 1982,in private and public schools, as well as his home and church studios. He studied music at the University of Southern Maine, Centenary College of Louisiana, and earned his Bachelor of Music degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. His violin and viola studies were with Dora Marshall Mullins and Amadi Azikiwe. Jim has performed with numerous ensembles across the country including the Virginia Beach Symphony.
He is a member of the Virginia Beach Chamber Music Society and appears as a soloist in recitals and church programs.
Jessica Edwards has been teaching piano since 1995. She holds the Bachelor of Theatre Arts from Greensboro College anddid graduate work in camera acting at Regent University. As a professional actress she has appeared in numerous Discovery Channel episodes as well as theatre productions.
When not teaching piano, she serves as the president and CEO of Lightshine Musik and home-schools her four wonderful children.
